This Brooder gas heater is the easiest to operate, thermostatically controlled gas brooder. And this means the brooder automatically maintains the chosen temperature.
This is a quality tested brooder gas heater and known for its long life and reliable performance

It is supplied complete with all the required accessory like thermostat, regulator, 3 metres of gas pipe, jubilee clips, S hooks and chains.

This gas brooder is of choice for many poultry farmers in Uganda and Africa at large.

When there is no need for heat, the brooder attendant should keep the burner operating on the lowest setting. This therefore makes it very economic to run in saving propane and labour costs.

The brooder gas heater will operate with or without the air filters. But always use them in a dusty environment.

This brooder gas heater is suitable for up to 2500 day old chicks. It has a large heat range of 9,500 – 30,500 btu. Making it much more adaptable than any other kind of brooding system.

This heater has a strong stainless steel reflector and spherical burner which helps to radiate almost 95% of the heat efficiently downwards. Whilst brooders with cylindrical burner houses radiate 30% upwards. The famous design of our brooder gas heater is a result and combination of the benefits of the classic ceramic heaters. And this brooder gas heater emits infrared rays, combined with a round reflector this creates radiation heat evenly on to the brooding area.

Our brooder gas heater is designed to be hung at a higher height of about 1.4 mtrs and 1.7 mtrs, therefore it will heat a larger area.
Remember this will help us get rid of dangerous smokes from other brooding systems like charcoal sinse the brooder gas heater doesn't produce smoke making it more healthier for the day old chicks.

AIR QUALITY IN THE POULTRY HOUSE
High ammonia and dust levels affect the chicken’s mucous membranes and make them more susceptible to disease. In fact too much ammonia causes death in chickens. You can smell the ammonia from a concentration of as little as 20 PPM yourself. If you can smell it, the concentration is too high.

Other gases like carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide have no smell. Imperceptible to humans, excessive Constitution can be harmful to the birds, but also to humans. Ventilation not only brings fresh air into the house, it’s also removes residues in the air.
If you have several poultry houses, you may sometimes notice the activity in different houses, birds are doing different things. If the birds in one house are less active than those in another, there may be something to do with the climate. Monitor it, or get someone in to do so, and improve your ventilation system if necessary.

You can monitor most of gases easily yourself using gas detection tubes.

The information below shows the standard levels for the main gases in Poultry house.

Oxygen 21%
Carbon dioxide less than 0.2%
Carb monoxide less than 0.01%
Ammonia less than 0.002%
Hydrogen sulfide less than 0.002%
Relative humidity 60 to 70%.

To achieve this, use the Modern brooder gas heater which keeps the air quality at standard levels, uses less fuel, accommodates 1500 chicks, or 2500 chicks.

Don’t let the dropping accumulate, they increase ammonia level in the house.

Using charcoal stoves in poorly aerated houses increases carbon monoxide, a toxic gas.

Charcoal stoves also produce smoke
which irritates the birds.

AUTOMATIC NIPPLE DRINKERS
Nutrinova ltd offer automatic nipple drinkers which are premium devices used in the poultry industry to discharge water for chickens without wetting the litter.
You probably already know that keeping your chickens healthy and happy requires that you give them fresh, clean water regularly. Once your birds are happy, they grow well and lay more eggs (in the case of layers).

Having your water discharged through the nipple system ensures that your chickens always have fresh, clean water.

The automatic nipple drinkers can be used for layers, broilers, and other birds in cages or on the floor as well as swine, And rabbits. You can use one automatic nipple drinker with clip for 3 or 4 chickens in the cage. Alternatively, you can use it for up to 8 chickens in a deep litter rearing system.

All you have to do is attach the nipple drinker with a clip to the PVC pipe that is connected to a water supply source. Once the chicken pecks on the tip of the nipple, they are able to drink water.

Chickens are easily attracted to shiny materials, so they will easily peck at the shiny nipple tip and then discover that it’s a source of water.

Calcium and Phosphorous are very essential minerals in Poultry, Cattle (Ruminants), and Piggery Diets for;

Deficiency of these cause;
