HOW TO USE CID2000 TO FLUSH WATER PIPES. CID2000 removes the biofilm and descales the water pipes off the dirt that clogs in them. Use it to ensure water pipe hygiene is good so as diseases like ecoil do not attack your birds. 1. Ensure the water pipes are empty by turning off water flow, activity is advised to be done in the evening, when birds have taken enough water and can't access the water with CID2000. 2. Ensure that the water tanks and cisterns have no water as well. Wash the duo copiously with water and soap, scrab them with a brush to full cleanliness. 3. Mix 400mls of CID 2000 in 20ltrs of water and pour it in the cisterns until the water pipes are full of water. Leave it to make contact with the inside of the pipes so that it can remove the scale and biofilm and also kill bacteria. 4. Contact time can be about 1 to 3 hours. 5. After that, use clean water with pressure to frush out the broken sludge, biofilm and dead bacteria from the pipes. The ends of the pipes at this point are opened so that dirt moves out.
